Gerda Cederblom, "Pehr Hilleström as a Cultural Depictor", part 1, 1927, depicted image 86. Included in the artist's own handwritten catalogue, cat no. 914. The painting is mentioned in a letter to one of the artist's students dated 16 November 1801 as having just been completed.
