A German parcel-gilt silver tankard, mark of Walter Kopman, Hamburg (1649-1688).
Partially gilt, cylindrical, on a struck base. Around the mantle engraved decoration representing three ancient goddesses (Justitia, Prudentia and Fortitudo/Courage) surrounded by ornamentation. Curved handle with two-part thumb grip. Height 21 cm, weight 890 g.
