The Cartier Roadster is a fascinating blend of early 2000s design and vintage automotive flair. Launched in 2001, it stands out with its tonneau shaped case and oversized fluted crown, inspired by the curves and detailing of 1950s sports cars. The dial features Cartier’s signature Roman numerals and sword-shaped hands, and models came in both automatic and quartz versions. One of its most clever innovations is the quick release bracelet system, allowing for easy strap changes without tools.
