Muut tiedot

In 1994, Mauboussin ventured into watchmaking, driven by a passionate team led by Chairman Alain Mauboussin and managed by Richard Mille. Under the slogan "combining Swiss technical expertise with French creativity," the brand introduced a diverse collection of timepieces for both men and women. This range included vibrant sports models, automatic chronometers, scientific chronographs, and refined, ultra-slim evening watches—all unified by the graceful curvature of a simple yet sophisticated bezel.

Before founding his own brand, Mille oversaw Mauboussin's watch and jewelry division, launching the company's proprietary watch line in the early 1990s. Unlike his future creations, these designs leaned towards a more traditional and elegant aesthetic, aligning with the French jeweler’s refined style rather than the bold, avant-garde approach Mille would later become known for.
