An 18k twin-case pocket watch by Jean-Robert Soret (master in Geneva, fl. ca. 1760-1791).

Double cases in 18k gold. Outer case with engraved decoration of borders and reserve. Inner case with case maker's stamps "JA" and "RS". White enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numeral indices, signed "Jean Robert / Soret", also the movement signed and numbered 16033. Lever escapement, pierced balance cock and movement plate with engraved decoration. Height approximately 46mm. Total weight approximately 61 grams. Key-winder included.
