Explore highly sought-after international and Swedish works by prominent artists and designers at the Nordic region’s largest live auction for contemporary art and design. The auction features significant works spanning from the mid-20th century to today.
Among the art highlights are Study for Black Hat 11 by Alex Katz, Lökholmen by Gunnel Wåhlstrand, and Day/Night XI as well as Untitled by Louise Nevelson. This season also showcases international artists such as Christo, Peter Halley, Arthur Boyd, and Nan Goldin, alongside renowned Swedish artists including Ola Billgren, Lena Cronqvist, Jan Håfström, and Linn Fernström. The Art Department also features a wide selection of graphic works by, among others, Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, and David Hockney, as well as a well-curated photography department with works by both Swedish and international photographers.
The DesignDepartment presents a unique private collection of furniture and objects from the renowned Memphis Group – carefully acquired over many years. The collection includes 22 colourful and iconic pieces by some of the movement’s most influential designers, including Ettore Sottsass, Peter Shire, Aldo Cibic, Shiro Kuramata, and Michele De Lucchi.In addition to Memphis classics, the auction also includes works by acclaimed international and Swedish designers such as Donald Judd, Mario Bellini, Virgil Abloh, and Mats Theselius. A selection of contemporary, studio-based designers is also featured, including Niklas Runesson, Mårten Medbo, Hanna Hansdotter, and Attila Suta.

Register with one click – please note that if you are an online customer you need to register for live auctions to be able to bid at the auction. If you are a verified live auction customer and logged into your account, you can place an online absentee bid up to when there are 10 lots left before the lot you are interested in is hammered. Simply find the lot you wish to bid on and enter your maximum bid in the “Place your bid” field, after this Bukowskis will bid on the item for you.
You may also send in a written absentee bidding form to our customer service. Click here to download the absentee bidding submission form and send the filled out form to info@bukowskis.com.
If you are a verified live auction customer and logged into your account, you can participate online in real-time during the auction. Find the auction you want to participate in and click “Join the live auction”, and you will be directed to Bukowskis’ live auction streaming page. The lot being sold is shown on the screen – so keep an eye out for the lot you wish to bid on. After this, you can place your bid in the “Place your bid” field.
If you prefer to bid by telephone, one of our specialists can call you directly from the salesroom and bid on your behalf. Simply fill out the telephone bidding application form and send it to telephonebid@bukowskis.com by 8 PM on the day before the auction. Please specify the catalogue number, your full name, address and telephone number(s) where you can be reached during the auction.
If you wish to bid Live in person in the salesroom, you can register at Bukowskis, Arsenalsgatan 2 in Stockholm from 10 AM on the day of the auction. For more information, please contact our customer service: info@bukowskis.com.

Payment must be made within 8 working days after the auction ends. You can find information on how to pay for your items under ”My Pages”. Payment can also be made during ongoing auctions at the premises on Arsenalsgatan 2, by Berzelii Park. (please note that we do not handle cash).
Arsenalsgatan 2 – Welcome for in-person collection of auction purchases at Arsenalsgatan 2, October 22–24 and, October 27–28. Unfortunately, we cannot offer pickup at Arsenalsgatan 2, during the period of October 25–26, and October 29 to November 3.
Västberga Allé 3 – Starting Tuesday, November 4, you are welcome to Bukowskis, Västberga Allé 3, to collect your auction purchase.

Please note that from November 7 onwards, a storage fee of 50 SEK per item per day will be charged. Bukowskis requires full payment for your item before collection can take place.
If you have won a bid in one of Bukowskis’s auctions, you can easily book delivery online on ”My pages” after you have paid for your item. You can also contact us at specialdelivery@bukowskis.com if you need help finding the best transport solution for you.
