A quintessential 1970s Memovox, the E871 pairs the model’s practical alarm with bold design. The cushion “TV-screen” steel case (approx. 38–38.5 × 45 mm) frames a multi-tone dial with a rotating central disc to set the alarm. Dials were produced in striking grey/orange or silver/blue combinations, with date at 3 o’clock and dual signed crowns for time/alarm setting. Inside beats Jaeger-LeCoultre’s high-frequency automatic Calibre 916—JLC’s first full-rotor Memovox movement famed for its robust “speed-beat” architecture.
