A simple function check indicated the movement runs; accuracy, power reserve and long-term performance have not been tested and servicing may be required at the buyer’s expense. Rarely seen in 18K gold, what is even more rare is to find one fitted with its original 18K gold bracelet. The so-called Zenith NSA bracelets are among the more underappreciated yet important details in vintage Zenith collecting, especially from the late 1960s and 1970s.

“NSA” refers to Novavit S.A., a Swiss bracelet manufacturer that supplied bracelets to several watch brands during the period. Zenith did not make these bracelets in-house; instead, like many brands of the era, they relied on specialist suppliers such as Novavit.
