Totalweight: circa 118 grams

The general impression is good. Wear due to age and use. Minor damaged dial, visible when the front is open.

A simple function check indicated the movement runs; accuracy, power reserve and long-term performance have not been tested and servicing may be required at the buyer’s expense. Water resistance cannot be guaranteed and should be checked by a qualified watchmaker before any exposure to water. Pictures of the movement are available upon request. No right of withdrawal applies to live auction purchases.

Alkuperä - Provenienssi

The watch bears royal provenance, engraved as a gift on the inner case H.M.H. Krons Prins Oscar, who later became King Oscar I. The only son of King Karl XIV Johan and Queen Desideria. He came to Sweden with his father in 1810, became Crown Prince in 1818, was crowned in Storkyrkan in 1844, and was buried in Riddarholmen Church in 1859. He was succeeded by Karl XV.
