Pewter, circular frame with relief decoration of reclining women, frosted glass plate, details of ebonised wood, for three bulbs. Diameter 43 cm, height ca. 37.5 cm.
Electric function not tested. Minor wear.

Hotel Båstad, Skåne.
In 1910, Hotel Båstad was acquired by engineer Ludvig Nobel (nephew of Alfred Nobel). Nobel first expanded Hotel Båstad upon taking over, but in 1927-28, he renovated and added to the then modest hotel with the aim of creating a representative hotel. Architect Carl Hörvik was commissioned to design a large part of the interior, and Firma Svenskt Tenn in Stockholm supplied the fixtures. Notably, the present model is referred to as "Båstadkronan" (The Båstad Crown) in the archives of Svenskt Tenn.
