Happy Diamonds is a jewelry concept introduced by Chopard in 1976. The design features free-moving diamonds set between two transparent sapphire crystals, allowing the stones to move freely with the wearer’s motion. Developed under the direction of Karl Scheufele, the concept challenged traditional fixed settings and emphasized lightness and playfulness. Initially applied to watches, Happy Diamonds was later expanded to include a wide range of jewelry, becoming one of Chopard’s most recognizable and enduring design signatures.
