Buccellati is an Italian jewelry house founded in Milan in 1919 by Mario Buccellati. Renowned for its distinctive goldsmithing techniques, the firm developed a signature style characterized by intricate engraving, lace-like metalwork, and references to Renaissance aesthetics. In the mid-20th century, leadership passed to Mario’s sons, who expanded the brand internationally while maintaining artisanal production methods. Buccellati’s work has remained closely associated with traditional craftsmanship, with many pieces still created using hand tools and historic techniques. The house continues to operate as a producer of high-end jewelry and silverware, noted for its continuity of style and emphasis on decorative surface detail.
