A silver writing set with two inkwells of cut glass and silver, the centre of the writing set engraved "Xmas, 09 from Grand Duke Michael", the lids of the inkwells engraved with the Grand Duke Michael's (1878-1918) monogram, made by John Thomas Heath & John Hartshorne Middleton, measures approximately 25x19x8.5 cm, weight without the inkwells approximately 540 gram
