Carl Malmsten's life's work is a national treasure. As one of the truly central figures in the history of Swedish furniture design, he united tradition with innovation. Malmsten also carried out extensive educational work as an inspiring teacher at his craft courses around the country and in the schools he founded. The present themed auction presents an extensive and carefully acquired collection of furniture designed by Carl Malmsten, where many design classics are represented.
