The table was shown as a part of a set of furniture at the H55 exhibition in Helsingborg, Sweden 1955.
In 1955 Hans J. Wegner presented 3 different versions of an industrial cowhorn chair. The chairs were made by Fritz Hansen as a combination of metal and wood, and was first exhibited at ”Bellahøjhusene”, Copenhagen in 1955. Later the same year, the H55 chairs were shown at the Swedish design exhibition H55 in Helsingborg and for that reason given their name.
Unfortunately, the chairs were never put into production and the thair is up up for sale is a model made in a very limited number for the exhibitions.
