Josef Frank
Josef Frank
The Austrian architect Josef Frank is one of Sweden’s most noteworthy interior designers. Frank’s furniture is not only highly sought after in Scandinavian auction houses, but also on the international market. His deep imprint on the history of Swedish design is characterised by a freer and more artistic style ideal. A richness in colour and peace in the family home, rather than standardised and puritanical principles, lie in the centre of Josef Frank’s vision. Frank’s objects are highly covetable and have over time become icons and classics – items which seem to never go out of style. In this theme auction we have gathered several furniture and lighting which all are design by Josef Frank.
