A set of three famille verte plates, Qing dynasty, Kangxi (1662-1722).
Decorated in famille verte with antiques such as vases, books and scrolls in a garden, all against a yellow ground. Diameter 21 cm.

From the Collection of Claes Wirseen (1939-2020). Pharmacist Claes Wirseen grew up in a family with a passion for Art and Antiques, he and his wife continued the tradition and were frequent visitors to the Fine Art viewings of the Auction Houses in Stockholm. He became interested in Asian art in the 1980’s and started to build up his collcetion at that time, never tiring to learn more about the Asian Ceramics and Works of Art.
