"It seems to me, that trying to say anything true or coherent about painting, is an almost impossible task, painting isn't logical; in fact it isn't logical at all. It exists outside the rules of logic and of reason.
To paint, I think, you have to be instinctive; you nee to listen to your intuition, to the way a color, a form, a texture feels inside you; and you have to follow that feeling as it articulates istelf on the canvs. There's no right or wrong, only a magical moment when this inexplicable thing, this part of you reches out to the canvs - for better or worse.".
