A postmodernist Collection

A starting point in art collecting is primarily the collector's interest in art. Often, the collector has a particular orientation, such as art from a specific period, region, or by one particular artist.

This collection reflects a great interest in abstract and concrete paintings from the 1970s and 1980s. Here you can find works by several significant European postmodernists, such as Louis Cane, Richard Smith, Stephen Buckley, John Walker, and William Tillyer. These British artists played an essential part in the development of postmodern painting.
