Trine Struwe lives and works in Copenhagen.
She has studied at Royal College of Art, London, UK (MA Painting), The Cooper Union School of Art, New York, US (Fine Art) and Malmö Art Academy, Malmö, SE (BA Fine Art)
Her work investigates the intersections between material and language through theories such as Écriture Féminine and vital materialism and spans experimental photography, sculpture, drawing and text.
Solo-exhibition Soft, Strong, Slow was shown at Dyson Gallery in London (UK). Previously her work has been shown in contexts such as Charlottenborg Forårsudstilling 2020 (Copenhagen, DK), Obra (Malmö, SE), Lunds Konsthall (Lund, SE) and Center of Photography (Stockholm, SE).
