After a Portuguese silver model. Shaped like a nautilus shell, richly enamelled in fine famille rose palette with scrolling flowers and floral patterns, the domed foot with flowers. Interior with butterfly and stylized lotus flower. Height 23.5 cm.

Loss of enamel. The foot misshaped.

Purchased at auction in the 1970's by the owners grandmother.
