A Chinese cloisonné on copper box with cover, 20th century.

Rectangular. Richly decorated with polychrome coiosonné covering the exterior. The top with a motif of an encircled black inscription to a turquoise ground surrounded by lotus flowers and foliage. On four ball feet. Enamelled in turquoise underneath. The interior partially fitted with wood. Height 12.5, c. 23 x 15 cm.

Wear. The inside of the cover with some tarnish and some sort of residue.
