The photographer himself writes about this particular motif:
"Betty was very beautiful. She grew up in a family with values from another century. She was strictly kept and limited in what she could do and who she could meet. At 21, she won a beauty contest. It was widely known that a beautiful girl lived at the prestigious Manor. The military personnel at the nearby airbase knew this. A pilot often flew past the manor to impress Betty. She also sought that affirmation. Betty never got her fighter pilot and chose to live alone for the rest of her life. It was 11:08. Betty heard the engine noise from the approaching fighter jet. She hurried to the window to see the silver barrel dive from the sky towards her window. In a fleeting distant encounter, she hoped he would see her."
