Each vicar naturally left their mark on the residence, and the items in this themed auction testify to a vicarage home with an interest in art, antiques, and curiosities. The auction items come from Långaryd's Vicarage and include an exciting collection of art and antiques, mainly of Danish origin.

The vicar and his family were often people with a high level of literacy who could impart education, knowledge, and news, and the vicarage thus functioned as a "cultural centre" long before such institutions were available to the public.
