An Extensive Collection of Pocket Watches – With a Focus on Omega and Longines

We are pleased to present an extensive collection of approximately 65 pocket and pendant watches, dating predominantly from the late 19th century and the first half of the 20th century. Particular emphasis is placed on Omega and Longines – two of the most significant names in Swiss watchmaking during the period – while the collection also includes watches by International Watch Co., Doxa and Helvetia, among others.

The variety of sizes, case designs and dials offers a broad view of the pocket watch’s development: from key-wound watches and traditional white enamel dials to later examples featuring Arabic numerals, 24-hour indications and subsidiary seconds. Some are restrained and functional, while others are more decorative, but together they reflect an era when the pocket watch served both as an essential everyday object and as an expression of precision, craftsmanship and personal style.
