Lacquered bamboo. U-shaped bamboo crestrail continuing to form the arms, supported by slender bamboo sideposts. The softwood seat above an apron of three bamboo leg-encircling stretchers, supported on legs joined at the hexagonal base. Height 87, seat height 48 cm.

Lunn had an exciting diplomatic career and was posted 1910-18 in Oslo, 1918-24 in San Francisco, 1924-28 Melbourne and then finally Shanghai 1928-35. Thence by descent within the familiy.
