Greta Cembraeus-Thorén Collection

Bukowskis presents a collection of art that belonged to Greta Cembraeus-Thorén (1895–1979), later known by her married name, Lindahl. Greta was first married to the artist Esaias Thorén. Together, they had a son, Per Staffan Esaias Thorén, who was also an artist and exhibited, among others, alongside Madeleine Pyk. The collection, which was assembled primarily during the first half of the twentieth century, includes works by the Halmstad Group artists Esaias Thorén, Axel Olson, Sven Jonson and Waldemar Lorentzon. It also features a number of works by Madeleine Pyk, Anna Berg, Vilhelm Bjerke-Pedersen and Christian Berg.
