Martin Wickström (Born 1957)
Educated at Gerlesborgsskolan 1977-1981, Royal Institute of Art 1982-1987. His earlier works often build on a 90s aesthetic with realistic details from urban scenes, recalling a bygone era of the Swedish welfare state idyll. His later images are poetic reflections from the world's less poetic events, and he moves comfortably within colorful realistic landscapes.
