Provenance: Karl Becht was a teacher at the Lundsberg School in Värmland, with geography as his main subject. He started collecting books in the early 1930s and specialised in illustrated books of voyages and travel, exploration and discoverey. ”The Karl Bech collection” was given a separate catalogue for its sale at Bukowskis in 1991.
