AN EMBROIDERY, wool on wool, ca 73,5 x 132 cm (plus 3 cm frame), Sweden first half of the 20th century, probably Scania.
A black ground with polychrome embroideries of stylized flowers and flower festoons, a pomegranate, a wreath and dated 1831. The pattern is from an antique carriage cushion.
Some wear, slightly dirty, minor stains, one small hole.
