Lyon, Ant. Gryphium, 1573. 8vo. 11,8 x 7,6 cm. 350 pp. Printer’s woodcut device on title and final page (both leaves pricked with a pointed / sharp instrument resulting in an area of very small indentations, affecting even the following few leaves).
Contemporary full calf, worn, sides with a panel design in blind with gilt fleurons at the corners and a central floral ornament in gilt; edges and corners rubbed, spine and part of the covers renewed. Ownership initials to title and annotations to verso of the same leaf, and to rear free endpaper, faint dampstain throughout, a few old annotations.
These three Latin poets have very often been published together.
