Johan Viktor Aarne, born in Tampere in 1863, journeyman in Hämeenlinna in 1880, master in 1890. For two long periods of his life, Viktor Aarne worked in St Petersburg and is widely known for his guilloché enamel works for Fabergé. In 1904, he settled in Viborg and opened his own shop there. Pictures also of the interiors there can be seen in the chapter on Viktor Aarne, pp. 195-203 in the book "Fabergé, his masters and artisans" by Ulla Tillander-Godenhielm, Unicorn, London 2018, printed by Grano Finland.
