A pair of bronze vases, Japan, Meiji (1868-1912). Signed.
The rounded bodies decorated with scrolling dragons individually shaped, one with closed jaws and the other gaping with teeth and tongue showing. Below the dragons, there is foaming waves and the vases are standing on tripod feet in the shape of waves. The rims with decorated with meanders. Traces of gilt. Signed to the bases. Height 18 cm.
Wear. Dents. Scratches. Small holes to the sides.
