Octant marked E Monierieff & Sons S Shields, height circa 25 cm. In a mahogany case with a label from Riggs & Brother Philadelphia Manufacturers Chronometers and Nautical Instruments, circa 34 x 28, height 13 cm.
Not fully examined. Not function tested. Wear due to age and use.
