Necklace of coral in the form of round beads, diameter between approx. 7.6-14.8 mm, length approx. 49 cm, stamped "K.UYEDA STERLING", three-strand bracelet, bead widths between approx. 5.5-7.4 mm, length approx. 21.5 cm, brooch with two coral beads diameter 12.4 mm, length approx. 7.8 cm, brooch in the form of carved flowers and leaves measures approx. 20x46 mm, earrings with cabochon-cut coral diameter 16.7 mm, height approx. 8 mm, earrings in the form of roses measure approx. 14.5x30 mm.
Possibly dyed parts. Necklace in need of re-threading.
From Johan Hultman's collection (1876-1958). Hultman was a Swedish diplomat; in 1911, he became the Swedish envoy in Shanghai. He returned to Asia after a post in Germany and served as the Swedish envoy in Japan from 1928 to 1936 and in China from 1929 to 1936, including Siam from 1931 to 1936. Bukowskis has previously sold items from this collection.
