The interest in Madeleine Pyk has been enormous since its opening just a week ago with half of the works already sold. The viewing in Bukowskis premises in a summery Berzelii Park the has also been visited by a lot of interested buyers and fans of Madeleine Pyk.
This is the largest exhibition Madeleine Pyk has ever done and I hope that more people take this opportunity to see this magnificent and content-rich summer exhibition. It is unique and inspiring to see that after only a week's exhibition we already sold half of all the works, it shows the incredible popularity and attractiveness of the artist, says Lena Rydén, Specialist Modern Art.
The demand for Madeleine Pyk's sculptures has also been renewed after a longer feature in TV4 Morning News where viewers were allowed to accompany Madeleine into her studio. Bukowskis are therefore pleased to be able to add a selection of these sculptures to the viewing, which will also be on sale.
Madeleine herself describes the sculptures as an expression of magic. She observes people and toys, these observations are then stored in her memory and embodied in these playful sculptures. The sculptures will cost from SEK 10'000 upwards.
She is loved as few and considering how many homes that have a painting by Madeleine Pyk on the wall, there are relatively few that are for sale in a secondary market. The owners have a personal relationship with these works, with their personal stories, which makes it difficult to separate from them. Do not miss the opportunity to acquire a work by Madeleine Pyk from the height of her career.
Welcome to visit the show which is open until Sunday 16 August. If you do not have the opportunity to come in person, we offer a view in 360°>
