Successful result for the Fine Art auction BLÅ – Ett livsbo
Bukowskis’ Live Auction ”BLÅ – A Life Estate” resulted in lively bidding, and the season’s first lot sold above 1 MSEK, abstract artwork by the international star Henryk Stazewski. The successful sale was followed by fine final prices for works by Swedish artists such as Barbro Östlihn, Maria Miesenberger and Marie-Louise Ekman. The auction also featured a dynamic collection of contemporary design and works of art, which with their personal expression, attracted new bidders from Sweden as well as internationally.

It’s always a little extra fun to sell a collection that attracts a wide clientele through its eclectic range and personal taste for art and design. I’m pleased that we were able to offer this season’s first lot exceeding one million SEK and that the fine work by Barbro Östlihn reached a high final price. We’re looking forward to presenting two more artworks by Östlihn at Contemporary Art & Design on October 26th.
