Swedish auction record for Hermès and high final prices for private fashion collection
Yesterday the auction Ett Liv – A private collection of Fashion closed. The auction resulted in a new Swedish auction record for Hermès Kelly as well as high final prices for bags, accessories and Prêt-à-Porter from fashion houses such as Chanel, Fendi and Christian Dior.
The private collection on auction contained just under 500 objects. The big highlight was the Hermès Kelly Himalaya, which sold for 1,187,550 SEK, making it the most expensive bag ever sold at auction in Sweden.

March 27 – 31 pick up will be on Arsenalsgatan 2 in Stockholm.
April 1 – 4 april there will be no pick up due to change of location.
From April 5 pick up will be on Västberga Allé 3 in Stockholm.
Note! During the Easter weekend our opening hours at Västberga Allé 3 will deviate from our normal hours. Thursday April 6 we are open from 10 am – 5 pm. From Friday April 7 to Monday April 10 we are closed. Tuesday April 11 we are open from 10 am – 7 pm.

With high final prices for jewelry, bags and accessories from Chanel, the highlights here being the "Bird cage", "Shopping Basket" and classic "Flap bag". Furthermore, we saw high demand for the iconic sequin and pearl-embroidered Baguette bags from Fendi as well as classic monogram suitcases from Louis Vuitton.
In the clothing category, iconic ready-to-wear from Phoebe Philo for Cèline, Nicolas Ghesquière for Balenciaga and Tom Ford for Gucci were clubbed. Iconic tweed blazers from Chanel, and elegant goat fur jacket from Giambattista Valli and older vintage items from, among others, Christian Dior and Lanvin were also in high demand and sold well above expectations.
Bukowskis has been entrusted to sell significant collections over the years. In 2023, several collections have already been sold, such as Fundament by TAF, Ex-Collection, Bror Marklund, CO Hultén. Next up is A Private Collection of Prada, April 19th, and A Private Collection of Gucci, May 5th.
