Bukowskis to move its headquarters to a historic building by the end of 2026

Bukowskis strengthens its position through a significant strategic investment, with plans to relocate its headquarters in the final quarter of 2026 to new, modern premises in the historic Magasin 3 in Frihamnen, Stockholm.

The new location spans approximately 5,000 square metres and is situated in an area close to both culture and commerce, with extensive development plans underway. The move signifies how the parent company Bonhams and its new owner, Pemberton Asset Management, are making a long-term commitment to Bukowskis, creating even better conditions to meet the high expectations of its customers.

"The move reflects our ambition to continue developing and strengthening Bukowskis as the leading auction house in the Nordics,"
Louise Arén, CEO of Bukowskis.

The building was designed by Åke Tengelin and constructed between 1919 and 1921 in the industrial neoclassical style of the 1920s, with a focus on quality. The warehouse features a distinctive column structure made of cast-in-place concrete with faceted pillars, and the building, over 100 years old, has recently been restored by Stockholm Port Authorities to its original 1920s style.

The new premises are designed to accommodate Bukowskis' diverse operations and welcome both old and new clients. Bukowskis has also, in competition with other industry players, won a recently concluded tender, thus securing renewed trust as a partner to Systembolaget's wine and spirits auction, which will also be moving to the new premises.

The move to Magasin 3 in Frihamnen is scheduled for the last quarter of 2026. Viewing and live auctions will continue to be held, as before, in Bukowskis' historic premises at Berzelii Park.
