Dekor i famille rosefärger förställande faktorierna i Kanton längs pärlfloden. Flaggorna visar de olika handelsstationerna som tillhörde respektive länder. Små kinesiska båtar ligger längs kanten, europeiska handelsmän syns bland byggnaderna. Diameter 35,7 cm.

This bowl provide a vivid description of the thirteen Hongs (European trading posts) at Canton, which, after varying lengths of service, ultimately were destroyed by the Chinese on December 13, 1856.
