Hyresgästernas Möbelaffär opened in 1927 at Malmskillnadsgatan 19 in Stockholm. The aim of the store and its offerings was to provide those with lesser means the opportunity to purchase stylish and modern furniture at a reasonable price, on instalment if they wished. The store remained in operation until 1943.
