This themed auction includes a number of sketch books, drawings, studies and sketches by Gösta Adrian-Nilsson, featuring both well-known motifs and a number of previously unseen compositions. The collection also includes several fascinating letters written to GAN by artists such as Carl Kylberg, Nils Wedel, Otto G. Carlsund and Fernand Léger. The highlight of these is the handwritten letter sent from Stockholm by Wassily Kandinsky to GAN in Lund.
