Josef Frank

“There is nothing wrong with mixing old and new, with combining different furniture styles, colors and patterns. Things that you like will automatically fuse to form a relaxing entity" (Josef Frank, c. 1950). The architect and designer Josef Frank (1885-1967) is one of Sweden’s most noteworthy interior designers over time. His deep imprint on Swedish design is characterized by a freer and more artistic style ideal. Frank’s objects are highly desirable and have over time become icons and classics – items which seem to never go out of style.

Viewing at Bukowskis, Berzelii Park 1, Stockholm February 18 – 22,
