For the love of art – a private collection

Gertrude Stein once said "you can either buy clothes or buy pictures", when asked about her collection. For many collectors two key elements are passion and knowledge. The present collection, from a Swedish private collector, show a lifelong love of art. Most of the works are prints from the 60s- and 70s, mainly from the American art history. It may come as no surprise that the collector lived in New York for a long time during which period many of the works were acquired.
