A large famille rose vase, Qing dynasty, Qianlong (1736-95).
Of baluster shape, finial in the shape of a buddhist lion. Finely painted with two panels with scholars engaging in conversation and games, around the panels masses of bats are gathering against a bolden ground. Height 45 cm.
Cracks, chips. Restored with staples.
