Instant Moments
In the theme auction "Instant Moments", we present several different photographers who have managed to capture the moment with their images.
With the help of the camera and the photographer, we can move through time and space. Documentary images help us to understand the world around us and the incessant passage of time. Conceptual images open our minds. Hans Gedda's portrait of Andy Warhol takes us back to the 1970s, Antanas Sutkus' image transports us to post-war Vilnius, and Robert Zuckerman's photograph documents David Bowie's amazing career. Gunnar Smoliansky's snapshots invite reflection and a keen eye for detail. In this curated photo auction, we hope that there will be a subject for everyone to identify with, because that is the strength of photography.
