Overall in good condition with age-related wear. Scratches and marks to case and crystal. Dial with even patina. The chronograph functions but does not reset correctly. The movement is running at the time of cataloguing, Bukowskis does not guarantee the future function of the movement. Please note that the movement has not been tested for timekeeping accuracy and may need a service at the buyer's expense. Watches have been opened to examine movements therefore no warranties are made that the watches are water-resistant. Potential buyers should inspect each watch to satisfy themselves as to condition. A rare Heuer chronograph from the pre-Carrera era, the Heuer Ref. 2444N features a 36 mm steel case with elongated lugs, a screw-down caseback, and slim “spillino” pump pushers. Its glossy black dial with gilt printing and radium triangle markers offers striking contrast.
Inside ticks the legendary Valjoux 72, the chronograph movement also found in the early Rolex Daytona, widely regarded as one of the most important calibers of the 20th century.
