Swedish translation of Fréville's Histoire des Nouvelles découvertes faites dans la Mer du sud en 1767, 1768, 1769, & 1770, first published in Paris in 1774. Contemporary full mottled calf, somewhat worn. With the large folding map (lightly creased and with a few short marginal tears, and later backing in a few places to folds (verso) and to an area 2 by 6 cms near inner margin, visible on verso). The book internally a little scuffed and worn, faint traces of damp to first half, old ownership inscription to page 1 of first part, and some slight staining of top of pages 96-99 in part
