Bukowskis sells unique shirt that belonged to Benny Andersson

A unique opportunity to come across an object from pop history

It has been 36 years since ABBA dissolved but the Swedish pop group is still up to date. The immensely popular pop group was formed in 1972 by Agnetha Fältskog, Benny Andersson, Björn Ulvaeus and Anni-Frid Lyngstad. Already in 1974 Abba made his big international breakthrough with the song "Waterloo" which won the Eurovision Song Contest in Brighton. Since then, the group was one of the world's most successful in the 1970s with international hits such as "Dancing Queen", "Money, money, money", "Chiquitita" and "The winner takes it all". A dozen albums were recorded before the group split in 1982. Almost all songs were written by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus.

Bukowskis sells a shirt that belonged to Benny Andersson's, a short-sleeved jeans shirt decorated with stars, rivets and rhinestones. The eye-catching shirt is documented during ABBA's tour in 1976. The shirt was acquired through a friend of Peter Grönwall and was a part of TV4's TV program "Bytt är bytt" (Swap is Swap) in October 2019.
