Inkunabler och 1500-talstryck från Bengt Ollfors samling

Inkunabler är de äldsta tryckta västerländska böckerna, tryckta från mitten av 1400-talet t.o.m. år 1500. De skiljer sig från senare böcker bl. a. genom att nästan alla saknar ‘titelblad’ och istället lämnar uppgifter om tryckare och utgivningsår i kolofonen, vanligen på sista sidan. Många böcker från början av 1500-talet har samma ålderdomliga drag som inkunabler, och är ofta lika sällsynta och eftersökta. De benämns ibland ”post-inkunabler”.
